CONNECTICUT CONSTITUTION PRAYER INITIATIVE

ON SITE PRAYERS

 

Background Info to Read before Prayers. The following prayers are in alignment with the original document of the Fundamental Orders being hidden in the Charter Oak Tree to preserve it. The vision and historical fact of the charter oak being split, the vision of a new tree growing up out of the root, changing into the tree of life symbolizes LIFE.  It represents what was the Fundamental Orders, the CT Constitution representing the first Constitution in the United States of America, is a tree of life to CT and oak of righteousness.

Repentance is key to this restoration. It only happens through the body and blood of Jesus. Forgiveness of sin and broken body of Jesus Christ leads to the Lord’s redemptive purpose and destiny.

Praise God there has been an abundance of prayer in CT over the years, particularly in the last 25 years regarding repentance and cleansing of the defilement of sin, broken contracts, idolatry, spilling of illegal blood and robbing God.  Originally, the state constitution and many of the towns covenanted the town and land to the Lord. These prayers have cleansed the roots of the original covenants these towns made with the Lord. The reproach of inequity has been rolled away in many towns and those towns have been rededicated to the Lord.

If the Lord leads you to repentance be led by the Spirit.  Other optional suggestions, also as led by the Spirit, are praise, worship, communion.

Cleansing and repentance prayers over self

  • Pure hands, clean heart

Protection Prayers over selves, family, town/city & CT

Based on the voice of Jesus’ blood and our repentance we pray the following over the Government of the town and its leaders.

CT Fundamental Orders/CT Constitution/The Tree of Life (roots) Prayers

  • Then a shoot (new tree of life, Jesus) will spring from thestem of Jesse, And a branch from his roots will bear fruit. Isaiah 11:1 NASB
  • A green Shoot will sprout from Jesse’s stump, from his roots a budding Branch. The life-giving Spirit of God will hover over him/her/CT, the Spirit that brings wisdom and understanding, The Spirit that gives direction and builds strength, the Spirit that instills knowledge and Fear-of-God. Fear-of-God will be all his joy and delight. He won’t judge by appearances, won’t decide on the basis of hearsay. He’ll judge the needy by what is right, render decisions on earth’s poor with justice. His words will bring everyone to awed attention. A mere breath from his lips will topple the wicked. Each morning he’ll pull on sturdy work clothes and boots and build righteousness and faithfulness in the land. Message Isaiah 11: 1-8
  • To grant those who mourn inZion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
  • Call forth the wisdom of the Tree of Life/Charter oak tree and that constitution/government of God be passed down to its seeds – the towns and cities.
  • The rewards of wisdom – She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who hold her fast. Proverbs 3:18 NASB
  • We declare the numerous righteous roots here in CT & (name of town) are expanding, multiplying, converging, intertwining and becoming one in the underground waters of the deep.
  • Call forth Oaks of Righteousness in (name the town). Declare that Christ is the end of the law, so there, may be righteousness for everyone who believes. Romans 10:4 NASB
  • The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry;… The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” Psalm 34:15,17; NIV
  • Declare Righteousness because the righteous will live by faith. Gal 3:11

 

 Covenant Prayers

  • I will establish My covenantbetween Me and you, And I will multiply you exceedingly. Genesis 17:2 NASB
  • I also established My covenantwith them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they sojourned.  Exodus 6:4 NASB
  • The secret of the Lordis for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant. Psalm 25:14 NAS
  • “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, (CT, towns)not like the covenant which I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the  “But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord, “I will put My law within them and on their heart I will write it; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. They will not teach again, each man his neighbor and each man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.” Jeremiah 31:31-34 NASB (Hebrews 8:8-12, 10:16-17)
     

Divine Counsel

  • Many plans are in a man’s heart, But the counsel of the Lordwill stand. Proverbs 19:21 NASB
  • Prepare plans by consultation, And make war by wise guidance. Proverbs 20:18 NASB
  • The Lordwho makes the storm clouds; And He will give them showers of rain, vegetation in the field to each Zechariah 10:1 NASB
    Call forth rain from the Lord at the time of the spring rain.
  • Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the town/city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. Jeremiah 29:7 NIV
    Speak peace and prosperity into the town, city. (Shalom in Hebrew can mean destroying authority attached to chaos)

Justice Prayers 

  • But the Lord is in His holy Temple, the Lord STILL RULES from heaven. HE WATCHES EVERYONE CLOSELY, examining every person on earth. The Lord examines both the righteous and the wicked. He hates those who love violence. He will rain down blazing coals and burning sulfur on the wicked, punishing them with scorching winds. FOR THE RIGHTEOUS LORD LOVES JUSTICE. The virtuous will see His face.” PS 11:4-7
  • “Arise, O Lord, in anger…Wake up, my God, and bring justice!” Psalm 7:6 and in verse 9, “End the evil of those who are wicked!”
  • He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples with equity. Psalm 98:10


Revival, Awakening & Restoration for CT & (name town)

  • Lord, Activate Revival, Awakening & Restoration. Bring Holy shock to apathy and carelessness. Isaiah 64:1 Oh, that You would tear open the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your Presence. As sure as Fire kindles the brushwood, as fire causes water to boil – To make Your Name known to Your adversaries, that the nations, CT, & (name the town) may tremble at your Presence”. Thank you for the seal of the Lord in the promises for a great end time awakening in (name town) & CT that spreads across (name town), CT, NE and the rest of the country.
  • Lord complete the reconciliation of the native American tribes and any other cultures in (name town), 2 Cor 5:18
  • Call forth the Elijah Revolution promise coming as a result of a new covenant with the Native Americans and the immigrants ‘as one’.
  • Prophesy the preaching of the four gospels like cannon balls of FIRE out and over the town squares of CT & NE. Preach with the demonstration of power and authority that pierces all inhabitants, invading the atmosphere, town squares, (name town) and churches.
  • We call forth the Acts 2 mighty rushing wind of the Spirit that accompanies the Glory opening the heavens over the area, creating and establishing the Lord’s heavenly highway of holiness in (name town)
  • We decree and declare the harvest in the fields in CT and (name town) is ripe and ready for harvest; we call forth the harvesting angels, the laborers and the huge harvest.
  • We decree a GLOBAL AWAKENING in (name town) and beyond.

 

Life of Christ Prayers
We at the crossroads, America! Connecticut! (Name Town) Life and death have been set before our nation! There is a war in the heavenlies for the soul of our towns, cities, state, nation. There is a distinction being made between righteousness and unrighteousness, like never before in history. People will be defined by their choices and their voices during this season.

  • Let us hold fast to Jesus. He is the way, the truth and our life! His promises still stand. He will fulfill His redemptive plan for this town, CT and the USA.
     
  • Command: Choose Life Connecticut & (Name Town)
     
  • This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you, life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the Lord your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the Lord is your life, and he will give you many years in the land, (name town) he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20; NIV)“
  • Choose for yourselves today (name the town) whom you will serve…. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. Joshua 24:15

Kingdom of God Prayers 

  • Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.For our God is a consuming fire.  Hebrews 12:28-29 NKJV  Pray for grace to serve God acceptably with reverence and Godly fear over the town/city, its leaders.
  • The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst (name town).” Luke 17:20-21
  • For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, Romans 14:17
  • But seekfirst his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33
  • The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing their way into it (name town). Luke 16:16
  • As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near (name town).’ Matthew 10:7
  • The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: “The kingdom of the world has become the Kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever.” Revelation 11:15
  • Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.  See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Isaiah 60:1-3
     

Government of God Prayers

  • How great are His signs, And how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And His dominion is from generation to generation. Daniel 4:3 NKJV
  • There will be no end to the increase of His  government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom, To establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness From then on and forevermore. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will accomplish this in (name town) Isaiah 9:7 NASB
  • The Lord has established his throne in heaven, and his kingdom rules overall. (name town) Psalm 103:19
  • The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;  indeed, the world is established, firm and secure. Your throne was established long ago; you are from all eternity in (name town) Psalm 93:1,2 
  • the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people. It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever in (name town) Daniel 2:4
  • Then the sovereignty, power and greatness of all the kingdoms under heaven will be handed over to the holy people of the Most High. His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all rulers will worship and obey him in this town.’ Daniel 7:27
  • Declare Jesus Christ as cornerstone and the Apostles and Prophets as the foundation of the Lord’s Government in (name town). Eph 4:11


Connecticut Constitutional Prayers 

Proclaim the CT Motto: He Who Transplanted Still Sustains. Lord of Lords, King of kings, you who transplanted your people to Connecticut You, Yourself Lord, still sustains.  Christ in us the hope of Glory.

  • Thank you, Lord, that Connecticut is known as the Constitution State as its Fundamental Orders (1639) was the first state constitution in the 13 Original Colonies. Thank you that Connecticut is known as the state of God’s favor, provision, revival & awakening.

Pray and Decree the Preamble of the Constitution of Connecticut. “The People of Connecticut acknowledging with gratitude the good providence of God, in having permitted them to enjoy a free government; do, in order more effectually to define, secure, and perpetuate the liberties, rights and privileges which they have derived from their ancestors, hereby, after a careful consideration and revision, ordain and establish the following constitution and form of civil government.”

Father, we stand before you on behalf of this nation and the state of Connecticut acknowledging that you have set before us, life and death, blessings and curses. We choose life, so that we and our children may live and love the Lord our God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. Lord, you are our life. Hear our cry and heal our land. We ask you to give us many years in the land of our inheritance. Let your covenant and generational blessing remain in this town, CT and the nation of America.  Thank you for the promise of your Word, “The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; … The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles.” Father, we acknowledge and come into agreement with your kingdom plan and purposes for this town and the state of Connecticut. We ask that you plumb line this town and Connecticut in your righteousness and justice.
This (name town) and Connecticut, you are carrying a greater mantle of revival and awakening than any other state in New England. May the revival fires of awakening, reformation and transformation ignite within you bringing revival, awakening, reformation and restoration to this town, CT and our nation. We call this town and Connecticut to awaken in her birthright and destiny as ordained by Almighty God. Connecticut, we acknowledge you as “The Constitution State.” Lord, let Connecticut’s motto of “He who transplanted still sustains” manifest within her. Connecticut may your roots go down deep. May the river of God sustain you.  Lord, reconnect, restore and revive your plan for this this town, CT state and our nation. We agree with the preamble to the constitution of Connecticut which honors the Lord, “The People of Connecticut acknowledging with gratitude the good providence of God, in having permitted them to enjoy a free government; do, in order more effectually to define, secure, and perpetuate the liberties, rights and privileges which they have derived from their ancestors, hereby, after a careful consideration and revision, ordain and establish the following constitution and form of civil government.” Lord, may your good providence continue to rest upon this state. We put a demand on the godly inheritance of Connecticut, “The State of Favor,” to be released and flow throughout our land.
