CALL TO JOIN JERUSALEM DAY OF PRAYER FOR ALL NATIONS
JUNE 6TH-7TH, 2018
COMMEMORATING ONE UNITED JERUSALEM
Calling Christians in all nations to stand in solidarity with Jerusalem and her King, praying together for her peace and security on June 7th each year, since in 2010, but also throughout the year. We will commemorate and give thanks to God for the fact that after thousands of years, on this historic day in 1967, Jerusalem was reunited as the Capital of Israel. (Luke 21:24-33) While this date changes each year on the Jewish calendar, we are commemorating each year the actual day that it happened in 1967, June 7th, and this year we are also celebrating the 70th year anniversary of Israel’s rebirth as a nation.
Greetings from Jerusalem!
Thank you for your agreement to join us in calling Jerusalem Day of Prayer for All Nations (JDOPFAN) worldwide on June 6th-7th each year and praying with us.
The importance of standing in united prayer for Jerusalem remaining the united capital of Israel with Jews and Arabs living together is more important than ever this year due to the threats internally in the Middle East and from numerous places worldwide to divide Jerusalem. We pray that God will open a fountain spiritually over the House of David (Jewish people) and other inhabitants of Jerusalem (largely Arabs). Historically and covenantally, Jerusalem was King David’s city and is the city of our Great King Jesus Mt. 5:35. The mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat says historically there has never been a successful experience when a city has been divided, also Jerusalem has never been the capital of any other nation than Israel.
Thank you for continually standing with us for Jerusalem to remain the united capital especially on June 7th, 2018 and throughout this year. It would be greatly appreciated if you could organize a prayer event in your city on June the 7th 2018 for 1 hour or more and if possible encourage and organize prayer events throughout your nation.
See the end of the letter for more details for viewing the Day of Prayer video clip.
Shalom from Jerusalem in Messiah’s Love,
Tom Hess
We encourage all churches and church movements worldwide to call corporate gatherings for one hour or more over the 24 hour period of June 6th-7th, 2018, beholding the beauty of His holiness, the King of Jerusalem. (2 Chr. 20:1-30) Standing in solidarity with Jerusalem and her King, worshipping and praying for her remaining the capital of Israel and for the Jews and Arabs in Jerusalem, Israel and the Middle East to be reconciled with God and each other, worshipping God together as a blessing in the midst of the earth (Isa. 19:23-25). Just as God protected Israel under King Jehoshaphat’s reign when they were praising the beauty of His holiness, we believe God to again protect Jerusalem and Israel as we praise the beauty of His holiness.
We hope you can join us on this day of prayer and, if possible, raise up prayer events in your city and if possible across your nation and beyond. If you can send this to your email list as soon as possible, it would be appreciated. Due to sensitivities, we request that you do not put it on your website.

We believe for the fullness of God’s purposes to be fulfilled for Jerusalem and her King!
We will pray for:
1) Jews and Arabs as brothers, cousins and natural children of Abraham to grow deeper in love and unity with God and each other in Jerusalem, Israel and the Middle East. (Isa. 19:23-25)
2) His people to look on Him and that He will open a fountain over both communities, the House of David and all the other inhabitants of Jerusalem . (Zech. 12:10-13:1)
3) Jerusalem to fulfill the plans of God’s heart and be a place of justice for all. (Lev. 19:15, Eze. 47:22, Micah 6:8, Amos 5:24)
4) God to strengthen the leaders and people of Jerusalem and Israel to stand in His everlasting covenant that Jerusalem, the city of the Great King, will remain the Capital forever. (Gen. 14:18-22, Ps. 48:1-2,3, Psa. 122:3-7, Zech. 12:5)
5) Watchmen in all nations and cities to take no rest and give God no rest day and night standing in solidarity worshipping and interceding for Jerusalem. (Isa. 62:6, Zech. 12:4)
6) The way to be prepared for the coming of the King of Glory to the Mt. of Olives, to open and go through the Golden/Eastern Gate and take up the Throne of David, (Ps. 24, Eze. 43:1-7, Isa. 9:7) resulting in judgment on the nations that try to divide Jerusalem and the land of Israel. Pray that your nation will stand with Jerusalem. (Joel 3:1,2, Zech. 12:1-3, Matt. 5:35)
7) Shalom to Jerusalem and her becoming a praise in all the earth forever. (Isa. 62:7)
8) Her King will reign as Prince of Peace over Jerusalem, Israel, (Isa. 9:6), the Middle East (Isa. 19:23-25) and all nations forever. (Zech. 14:9)
