Roe v. Wade

“When the LORD brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, ‘The LORD has done great things for them.’ The LORD has done great things for us, and we are glad. Bring back our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears, shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.” (Psalm 126 1-6; NKJV)

On December 1, 2021, the Supreme Court heard a case that could overturn Roe v. Wade. It’s a case out of Mississippi — Dobbs v. Women’s Health. “In the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s hearing of the oral arguments in the Dobbs case, there is great optimism that, at last, Roe v. Wade could be overturned. But a lot can happen between now and the time the court makes its final ruling, most likely in June. And that means now is the time to increase prayer for a righteous decision. By no means can we take our foot off the gas.”1

Pray the Supreme Court will overturn Roe v. Wade:
“What sorrow awaits the unjust judges and those who issue unfair laws.”

The Abortion Pill

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) removed restrictions from the distribution of the abortion pill, allowing it to be given out in different settings rather than the method by which it has been issued in the past.”2 This allows abortion medication to be sent through the mail and potentially obtained online. Human traffickers and abusers can also get access to the pill, which could prevent their victims needing to be seen by a doctor. This is an open door for the enemy and is extremely dangerous to pregnant mothers. This pill is a public health threat.
Pray for the mothers eyes to be opened:
“Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?”

The Bill that Will Force Taxpayers to Pay for Abortions

 

“The U.S. House passed a massive $2 trillion spending bill that will force taxpayers to pay for the killing of unborn babies in abortions.”3 This bill, also called the Build Back Better bill, has not yet passed in the Senate. It failed there due to conflict over the voting rights section. Some senators are now looking at bringing the bill forward in pieces.4 We need to continue to pray that this section of the bill will be voted down.

Pray this bill will not pass and Godly Wisdom for our government officials:
“For lack of guidance a nation falls, but victory is won through many advisors.”
(Proverbs 11:14; NIV)

Life Begins at Fertilization

“An amazing new discovery is bringing more attention to the fact that human life begins at the moment of fertilization.”5 This is a wonderful discovery our scientists have made this truly shows the hand of God touching each life.

Pray for the unborn babies:
“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; the fruit of the womb is a reward.”
