9/11: A 20-Year Retrospective
VIRTUAL BROADCAST ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2021 AT 9:00 AM ET
September 11, 2001 (9/11) is known as a day on which America changed. Many still struggle to understand and deal with the tragic events and resulting shifts in how we think, feel and interact. Before 9/11, America had never experienced international terrorism at such an intensive level. As we approach the 20th anniversary, Regent University’s Robertson School of Government will host 9/11: A 20-Year Retrospective to look at terrorism through a historical lens, discuss contemporary issues, and look toward the future.
9/11: A 20-Year Retrospective will be broadcast on the Regent website on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. ET. You will hear from Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson, Regent’s founder, chancellor and CEO, as well as in-depth, comprehensive interviews with former Attorney General John Ashcroft and former Intelligence Committee Chairman Ambassador Pete Hoekstra. Internationally recognized author and speaker Rabbi Jonathan Cahn will deliver an important message.
Other featured guests will include NYC Police Chief on 9/11, Bernie Kerik; FBI agent, Brig Barker, who tracked terrorist Mohammad Atta through Egypt and North Africa; and Muslim leader, General Secretary of Nahdlatul Ulama, Kyai Haji Yahya Cholil Staquf, who disavows violence and terrorism in the name of Islam.
